Business Development Manager
Tait has an extensive background in business growth, organisation development and sales management across a number of industries and sectors. Most recently, Tait worked for a technology start up-in the world of cloud-based business applications and SaaS solutions, but he also brings high-level relationship management skills from his time in executive recruitment, professional development and business consultancy.
Tait's primary role at NZTG is to work closely with members throughout the country with a focus on helping member businesses become more successful and sustainable. This includes providing business advice, helping to maximise membership benefits and resources, the adoption and management of the NZTG technology solutions and working closely with our preferred supply partners.
Haley
Business Relationship Manager
Haley joins NZTG from a successful sales, relationship and key account management background that includes commercial and retail experience spanning over 10 years.
Her career so far has been dedicated to achieving results, and she is committed to high-level service delivery and providing solutions for her customers and now member businesses.
Haley’s primary role at NZTG is to work closely with members throughout the country with a focus on helping member businesses become more successful and sustainable. This includes providing business advice, helping to maximise membership benefits and resources, the adoption and management of the NZTG technology solutions and working closely with our preferred supply partners.
Lauren
Software Training & Support
Lauren has worked in the electrical industry for many years and has been involved with NZTG from the beginning. Lauren is focused on the development, training and integration of new software solutions for our members.
Tonya
Office Manager
Tonya manages our accounts and looks after member applications and requirements, and is also the smiling face and welcoming voice you’ll chat to over the phone or meet at reception if you pop into our Albany office.
Paul
Software Support Manager
Paul is a Director of NZTG and has over 30 years in the electrical contracting industry in NZ. He has successfully managed an electrical contracting business since 2003 before stepping aside to work full time in the NZTG business. With his extensive knowledge of the electrical trade, in-depth product knowledge and the ability to accurately price both residential and commercial work. Paul works closely with the NZTG software team and is integral to the development of the new generation of business software for members.
Austin
Software Support
With over 40 years of experience in the electrical trade, Austin has been involved in the installation of one power outlet right up to the logistics of installing over 2000 power outlets - he knows his stuff.
As NZTG’s Operations Manager, Austin is a staunch advocate of using systems and processes to run a smoother and more profitable trade business. With a passion for new ideas, including technology, Austin is always on the lookout for smarter ways of doing things - life hacks - which are then passed on to our members. Time is precious, so Austin likes to see business owners with more free time, or using their time productively to further develop their business.
Jeremy
Business Training
Through NZTG’s targeted services, software and supplier network, our Business Support Manager Jeremy works with members to fast track their business’s acceleration and growth through a mix of individual mentoring and online automated training.
Jeremy is focused on making sure the services we provide to our members work in a practical and functional manner, so their businesses reap all of the tangible benefits of being part of the NZTG network.
Brownie
Research & Development
In 2006 after 20 years in the electrical trade industry, Brownie founded NZTG after realising there had to be a better way to run a successful trade business.
Andrewe has now stepped aside from NZTG leaving the operations and management to a committed and dedicated team. His focus is now on the development of our trade specific software which will enable contractors to further power their businesses.
A master at creating efficiencies through automated systems and with a passion & commitment to the trade industry, Brownie has found his forte in the trade specific software world.
Mark
Chief Technical Officer
Mark has been architecting large scale ERP systems for over a decade and been in the software industry for more years than he cares to remember. He is responsible for driving our software platform forward and helping our team build the best software we can for our members. He aims to keep automating and simplifying tasks for the professional tradespeople in our network.

Software Engineer
Nick is a Software Engineer with over 16 years' experience across a variety of technologies and programming languages.
Passionate about technology in all forms, Nick is committed to the delivery of high quality software solutions.
Simon
Software Engineer
Simon is a software engineer at NZTG. Previously involved in various software development roles, including managing, testing and engineering; he aims to use his experience to ensure the software NZTG offers provides maximum value.

Andrew is an experienced software engineer with a demonstrated history of delivering high quality software solutions; Building software which adds value is Andrew’s passion and he shares this with the NZTG organization and its members.
Joel
Software Engineer
Joel is part of our in-house software development team. Joel’s role is to maintain and improve our software solution to ensure users have an easy and reliable experience.
Joel became a qualified software engineer at the end of 2013 after completing his bachelor of Computer and Mathematical Science at Waikato university. For the past five years Joel has been working full time in software roles. Aside from his training, Joel has always had a passion for computers and evolving tech and is lucky enough to have translated that love into a day job!
Hayden
Software Engineer
Hayden is a member of our software development team. Hayden completed a computer science degree at the University of Auckland in 2013 and has since been working full time as a software engineer with a strong focus on web development. Hayden is committed to solving problems using software in order to benefit the end user.
